Privacy policy

This page explains what data cortese.app collects and why. In short: very little, and only what is needed to carry on the conversation with those who write to us.

Browsing data

The website is hosted by Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics, which collects, in aggregate and anonymous form, the pages visited, where the visit came from, the country and the type of device. It does not use cookies and does not make it possible to identify you.

Data you send us

If you write to us — by email or on WhatsApp — we process your name, your contact details and the content of your messages in order to reply to you, to prepare the demo and, should one follow, the commercial proposal. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Contacts we collect ourselves

To introduce Cortése, we write to hospitality businesses using the business contact details they publish on their own website. We process only the name of the property, the email address and, where published, the name of the contact person, on the basis of our legitimate interest in making the service known (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For these emails the data controller is Luigi Loconsole, Via Don Luigi Guanella 15/B, 70124 Bari, Italy. We keep this data for 6 months from the last contact, unless a business relationship follows. You may object at any time (Article 21 GDPR) by replying to the email or writing to ciao@cortese.app, and we will not write to you again.

Retention and sharing

We keep messages for as long as necessary for the business relationship and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. The tools involved are Vercel (hosting and analytics) and, if you choose to use it, WhatsApp (Meta), each under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, or restriction of its processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to ciao@cortese.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
